Fonthill & Pelham
Is it Pelham? Fonthill? Fenwick? Ridgeway? Good news. It’s all of the above!
Pelham is a great option for those looking to escape to the country but still have convenient access to the usual city amenities. It really is an area that you need to spend an afternoon touring as you meander through the various roads and village feel.
In the heart of Niagara, this area has seen some intense expansion in recent years with new construction starts creating a new feel in the community of Fonthill. This is seen when driving down Highway 20 where you’ll find significant commercial growth with grocery, pharmacy, dining and retail.
Just west of the Welland Canal and Hwy 406, you will find access to the highway fairly convenient from this popular community. Further west you’ll find Victoria Avenue which heads north back up to the QEW through Lincoln.
With average sale prices 2nd only to Niagara-on-the-Lake, homes here are a mix of new, established, modest and grand, providing a range of available options.
Just south of Short Hills Provincial Park, residents enjoy a fabulous range of options for getting outdoors and active. A somewhat hidden gem is Saint John’s Conservation Area, perfect for those looking for a more modest hike.
