Niagara-on-the-Lake

Often referred to as the prettiest town in Canada, Niagara-on-the-Lake sits on the shores of Lake Ontario, at the mouth of the Niagara River. This quaint town played a pivotal role in the war of 1812 when the British Army set-up in the defence of Upper Canada.

To this day you can still find historic sites scattered throughout the area including the fascinating Fort George site which is tucked in beside Old Town next to the Niagara River.

Niagara-on-the-Lake is a sum of many parts. From the Old Town to Virgil, Queenston to St.Davids, the waterfront homes along the Niagara River Parkway all the way south to Niagara on the Green area on the south side of the QEW.

All in between you will find loads of wineries and breweries to explore. From Niagara Oast House Brewers to Silversmith, Stratus Vineyards, Wayne Gretzky Estates, Peller Estate, Colaneri Estate Winery, Chateau des Charmes, Konzelmann Estate Winery, Trius Winery, Jackson-Triggs Winery…the list literally goes on and on and on. In a good way though!
